Decepticons Fall to the Northern Lights

The Decepticons started out strong, but fell to the surging Northern Lights on Monday night by a score of 8-1. The Lights played an all around disciplined style of play that cut down the 'Cons ability to get to rebounds and jump on any quality chances. More importantly, Northern Lights legend and founding father J.P. came down and played for the team this evening, displaying a high level of ability with a goal, an assist, and a cross checking penalty. Lights Look to Transform and Roll Out.....Again.....

The Northern Lights take on their old foe, The Decepticons, Monday, Dec. 21st @ 6:45PM at the Sahara Event Centre. In their last 5 matches, the 'Cons hold the lead, winning three out of their last five games during the regular season. The Lights have won their last two games against the 'Cons, winning a tough 6-5 overtime thriller. The Lights have a bit of a win streak going on, winning their last 4 games, including their historic playoff run. A 7-6 loss to the Aces back on November 23rd was the Lights last defeat.
The Northern Lights Radio Network Pre Game podcast will be up and running sometime before Monday morning.
